About this tool
Enter the width, the height, or both. With "Fit inside" the image is scaled down to fit within that box and keeps its proportions; with "Crop to fill" it fills the exact size and the overflow is trimmed evenly from the edges.
Reducing dimensions is also the most effective way to cut file size: an image half as wide has a quarter of the pixels. Images are never enlarged in "Fit inside" mode, because upscaling only adds blur.
Resizing uses a multi-step high-quality downscale, so fine detail and text stay crisp instead of turning jagged.

How do I keep the aspect ratio?
Use "Fit inside" (the default) — or enter only a width or only a height, and the other side is calculated automatically.
Can I resize many images at once?
Yes, all images you add are resized with the same settings, and you can download them together as a ZIP.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. The image is decoded, processed and re-encoded entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else, which also makes it fast — there is no upload or download wait.
Is it free? Are there limits or watermarks?
It's free, needs no account, and never adds a watermark. There is no daily limit; the only practical limit is your device's memory for very large images.
