About this tool
X (formerly Twitter) displays profile headers at a 3:1 ratio, and 1500×500 pixels is the recommended upload size.
The tool crops your image to 3:1 from the centre and resizes it to exactly 1500×500. Keep important text and faces near the middle: your profile photo overlaps the bottom-left corner, and the visible area differs slightly between phones and desktop.
