About this tool
Several online applications ask for a square digital photo of at least 600×600 pixels — for example, the US passport and visa photo rules require a square image between 600×600 and 1200×1200 pixels.
This tool only handles the size and cropping. Official photo rules also cover background colour, head size, lighting and expression, and they differ by country — always check the official requirements for your application.

Will this make my photo acceptable for a passport?
It gets the dimensions right, but acceptance also depends on the background, head position and other rules set by the issuing authority. Check their official guidelines.
The form also has a file size limit — can I meet it?
Yes. After resizing, use "Compress to 50KB" or another target size if the form requires it.
